27 Apr 2018  The deadline to apply for the academic year 2018-2019 at the University for Peace (UPEACE) in Costa Rica has been EXTENDED especially for interested students from Europe.

 

Their applications will be accepted until June 1st, 2018 if they register directly via UPEACE Centre The Hague (UPH).

 

By filing their application via UPH, students from Europe will benefit from a 30% REDUCTION on their application fee!

Interview with UPH chairman Robert Serry following his visit to Costa Rica's University of Peace  

An international university devoted to peace and conflict management studies on top of a lush, green, tropical mountain: that is the unusual setting of the University for Peace (UPEACE) in Costa Rica

Robert Serry, the new chairman of UPEACE Centre The Hague (UPH) – which represents the University in Europe – was there and shares his experiences. He returned with a special deal for students from Europe: a big reduction on the tuition fee, alongside the possibility for an internship with the United Nations.

The Gaza Aquifer: A Dramatic Example of Failing Water Diplomacy

22 Feb 2018  In line with UPH’s focus on water diplomacy issues, UPH Chairman Robert Serry took part in the Water & Peace Seminar organized by the IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education. In a keynote speech on 18 January 2018, he offered a “diplomat’s perspective” on transboundary water diplomacy, focusing on the water and sanitation crisis in Gaza.
